The grain is long and slender, translucent yet hard with a low content of chalky kernel. When cooked Jasmine rice is shiny, soft and tender with a natural aromatic flavor,most pronounced when freshly harvested.

Production : Jasmine rice has been developed from a local variety found in Chachoengsao province and,since 1959,has been promoted by Thailand’s Department or Agriculture. Now grown nationwide. The largest output currently comes from theNortheast region where the soil and environment is conducive to producing the highest quality grain.

Characteristics : Parboiled rice is produced by a process of soaking,pressure steaming and drying prior to milling. Thai Glutinous Rice 10% Broken
Also known as : Sticky rice or Sweet Rice

Characteristics : The consistency of what is commonly called “ sticky” rice is derived from two kinds of starch in the kemels, namely amylase and amylase and amylopectin. A higher amount of the later increases the sticky texture. Glutinous rice can be easily distinguished from other varieties by its milky colour.

Production : The major production areas for glutinous rice are the upper northern and northeastem regions of Thailand where water is scarce. the best known and best quality variety is called “Sanpathong” which is grown mainly in the north.

Market Facts : Glutinous rice is most widely consumed in the ares where it is grown,as well as by certain communities in Laos and Cambodia. In addition to direct consumption, it is often used as an ingredient in sweet dishes, snacks and the brewing industry.

However,export of glutinous rice has rapidly increased in the recent years.

Characteristic
This sugar is produced from sugarcane directly, and gets from the primary process from simmer and crystallize the sugar. General have colour max 1,500 ICUMSA, dark brown colour.

There’s high level of impurity, clear flake, light brown to dark brown colour, moisture middle and flaky. This type of sugar can not be consumed directly, it has to undergo process of re-melting and make it to be white sugar or pure white.

High Polarization Sugar

High Polarization Sugar is the better purity index’s raw sugar, which already passed some degree of purity index. The color of the sugar is brownish yellow. Normally, the color index is around 1,000-1,500 ICUMSA. It is eatable now. The price of High Polarization sugar will be cheaper than white sugar and refined sugar. Molasses

Molasses is the product that we get from the process of producing sugar. It comes in the thick and brownish black in color, which has low level of sweetness (not enough cost-effective to re-produce again). Molasses is the most valuable product that we can get from the process of producing sugar, which contain 20% of water, 30% of sucrose, 32% of Invert sugar, 12% of Non-sugar organic matter, and 6% of ash. In the amount of a ton of sugar cane, we can produce about 45-50 Kilograms of molasses. So the amount of the molasses each year will depend on the quantity of producing sugar from the sugar cane. Molasses is the product that can be used in many kinds of bio-chemical industries.
